Misir Besra, a top Maoist leader with a bounty, was apprehended in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district. He faced charges in 141 cases across multiple Indian states. Two other Maoists were also arrested during this significant police operation. Meanwhile, sixteen Maoists surrendered before Jharkhand Police on the same day. These surrenders included individuals with substantial rewards on their heads.
