Woman in Bengal gets Rs 17.17 lakh payout after finance company illegally seizes her truck

A finance company illegally seized a woman’s truck despite her loan payments being current. The consumer commission found this action a severe deficiency in service. The company was ordered to pay over seventeen lakh rupees in compensation. This amount covers the truck’s value and the woman’s losses. The loan account was also ordered to be closed by the commission.
