‘Work day and night’: SC rejects Aravalli panel’s extension plea; CJI says it’s waiting for his retirement

The Supreme Court has firmly instructed the Aravalli expert panel to complete its report by November 30, denying any request for an extension. The court emphasized the need for the panel to engage with all relevant stakeholders prior to finalizing its recommendations. Should they fail to meet the deadline, the court will reconstitute the panel. An additional hearing is set for December 2.
