11-year-old who learned to sew at 4 designs American Girl collection

Brooke Sumpter, an 11-year-old fashion designer, has made history by becoming the first child to design an American Girl fashion collection. She began learning to sew at just four and has now created the Cherry Blossom Couture Collection with Harlem’s Fashion Row and Mattel, featuring stylish outfits for American Girl’s 18-inch dolls.
