39,815 rural families get pucca houses in Uttarakhand under PMAY-G

Since 2022, a total of 39,815 rural families in Uttarakhand received pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin. Udham Singh Nagar led with 4,882 houses built, followed closely by Haridwar and Rudraprayag with significant contributions. The state government has sought additional housing allocations from the Centre to continue supporting the initiative. Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive direct financial assistance for effective housing construction.
