In a heart-wrenching event on the winding Valparai-Pollachi ghat road, a van carrying a group of tourists from Kerala tragically fell into a steep gorge, resulting in the loss of nine lives, including five dedicated teachers. The group was on their way home after a day of exploration when the driver lost control on a treacherous curve.
