A nine-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted and murdered in Pune district. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon in Junnar tehsil, police reported. A 25-year-old man has been taken into custody by authorities. He allegedly took the child from her home to a nearby farm. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
