Air India Express ordered to pay Rs 27K after bicycle put on baggage belt

A consumer commission ordered Air India Express to refund a fee. The airline mishandled a passenger’s bicycle despite special handling payment. The commission found deficiency in service after the bicycle appeared on the regular belt. Air India Express must now pay compensation and litigation costs to the passenger. The total amount ordered to be paid is Rs 27,000.
