Apple is building a screenless Whoop rival, but it may not launch before 2028

Apple is developing a screenless fitness tracker to rival Whoop, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Prototypes pair a thin fabric band with a sensor-packed computing module. Backed by Tim Cook and Eddy Cue, the project is in an early stage, and Apple hasn’t decided whether to launch it. If it does, the band is unlikely to arrive before 2028, as Whoop and Oura keep growing.
