At 78, Nashville songwriter spends hundreds of hours rescuing foxes with mange

In a heartwarming display of compassion, Nashville songwriter Jerry Vandiver has devoted himself to rescuing sick red foxes. He skillfully traps these ailing creatures, transporting them to Walden’s Puddle Wildlife Center for much-needed care. In August alone, his dedication earned him 234 volunteer hours, ultimately assisting numerous animals.
