Australia sank 60 concrete fish boxes; 3 years later, fish species rose to 60+

Launched in 2013, purpose-designed artificial reefs were deployed along Western Australia’s coast, leading to a remarkable transformation of the seafloor. In a span of three years, fish species surged from a mere dozen to an impressive sixty.
