Balapur’s famous Ganesh laddu fetches record Rs 39L as visarjan festivities peak

During the Ganesh Visarjan celebrations, the auction of the Balapur Ganesh laddu achieved a record bid of Rs 39 lakh. Sam Praneeth Reddy from Vanasthalipuram won the prestigious laddu after competing against eight bidders. The tradition of auctioning the laddu began in 1994, with initial bids starting as low as Rs 450. The revenue generated is utilized for Ganesh Puja celebrations and community development programs.
