Bike mechanic’s faulty repair damaged man’s motorcycle; consumer court awards Rs 66,000

The mechanic had quoted ten thousand rupees but took twelve thousand in advance for the work. The commission found the repair work negligent and a deficiency in service provided. The labourer suffered financial losses and mental agony due to the faulty repairs.
