Daniel Tom, 31, started Bay Area Sanitation in California in 2023 with one truck and 100 portable toilets. The business became profitable within its first year and generated $4.3 million in 2025. It now operates nearly 2,000 toilets and 12 trucks, with Tom focusing on long-term rentals, regular cleaning and reinvesting profits to expand the company further.
