CBSE names Mandeep K Bhandari as new chairman, appointment follows OSM controversy

The Central Board of Secondary Education has appointed 2001-batch IAS officer Mandeep K Bhandari as its new chairman. His appointment comes months after the board faced scrutiny over the implementation of its On-Screen Marking system for Class 12 evaluation. Bhandari brings extensive administrative experience from Jammu and Kashmir and the Centre as CBSE prepares for its next examination cycle.
