‘Colonial overlords’: Delhi court slams Gujarat cops for ‘using’ child to nab dad

In a significant ruling, a Delhi court dismissed the request of four Gujarat Police officers accused of exploiting a minor boy as bait. The court remarked that their conduct mirrored that of colonial rulers during the operation. Furthermore, it was determined that the officers had no legal justification to cross state lines with the child, leading to the affirmation of kidnapping charges against them.
