DoorDash agrees to $131.5m after payment errors affected 200,000-plus NYC workers

DoorDash will pay $131.5 million to settle a probe regarding its payment practices for delivery workers. The settlement will directly benefit over 260,000 Dashers, addressing both missing and late payments. An additional dispute over calculation methods for on-call pay times has also been resolved in this agreement. DoorDash has acknowledged the issues caused by technical errors and improved its payment processes.
