Drop tests photos, parts of iPhone 18 Pro battery and cameras in Tata Electronics leaked

Apple’s tightly held manufacturing secrets have leaked online. Drop-test photos, parts lists, and supplier details for the unreleased iPhone 18 Pro surfaced on the dark web in a trove of 200,000+ files stolen from manufacturing partner Tata Electronics, Reuters reported. The leak maps hundreds of components to specific suppliers—information Apple never discloses—and exposes its negotiating leverage. Apple says it’s “concerned” and investigating; Tata has tightened internal security controls.
