FIR against BJP BLA over ‘false’ Form-7 applications, first such case in Telangana

An FIR has been lodged against BJP Booth Level Agent S Balachander for allegedly filing false voter deletion requests. The complaint, initiated by an election official, triggered a police inquiry. Congress leaders claim these submissions aim to unjustly disenfranchise valid voters from the electoral list. In response, Telangana’s Chief Electoral Officer has ordered District Election Officers to take action against these fraudulent applications.
