Former AIADMK minister M R Vijayabhaskar resigns as MLA, set to join ruling TVK

AIADMK MLA M.R. Vijayabhaskar has resigned, becoming the sixth legislator from the party to do so. This move further fuels allegations of ‘horse-trading’ against the ruling Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Vijayabhaskar is expected to join the TVK soon, following other former AIADMK members who have already switched allegiance. The opposition continues to criticize the ruling party for luring MLAs.
