Seventeen-year-old Thea Frodin made her Grand Slam debut at the U.S. Open against world No. 2 Elena Rybakina, losing 6-3, 6-2 but impressing with 11 aces. The California teenager, who played Serena Williams’ body double in “King Richard”, earned a wild card through junior success. Rybakina praised her powerful game as Frodin gained valuable top-level experience.
