Germany is requesting permission to produce advanced Patriot air-defence interceptors on its own soil. This initiative targets rising demand and current shortages of these essential missiles. German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has suggested increasing local production capacity of US weapons to alleviate supply chain issues. There is a significant need for these interceptors among American and NATO forces in Europe.
