‘Govt-ordered probe an eyewash’: Tripura Congress MLA demands judicial inquiry into DGP Anurag Dhankar’s death

Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman reiterated the party’s demand for a judicial probe. He cited unnatural circumstances surrounding the death of state DGP Anurag Dhankar. The MLA called the government’s investigation an eyewash and alleged the DGP faced issues. He expressed disappointment over the high court’s lack of suo motu action. The officer had previously investigated the Nirav Modi fraud case.
