Choti Diwali, or Naraka Chaturdashi, is the precursor to the grand Diwali festivities, celebrated to honor Lord Krishna’s triumph over the wicked Narakasura. This day symbolizes new beginnings and the hope that comes with them. People partake in early morning rituals, adorn their homes, and prepare delightful sweets. Despite regional variations in customs, the festival fosters a spirit of compassion and encourages reflections on personal values and relationships.
