‘Insulting label’: Rahul Gandhi responds to ‘Dimagi Naxal’ attack, accuses PM Modi of ‘silencing and shaming’ critics

Rahul Gandhi joined the debate over Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Dimagi Naxal’ remarks. He accused the Prime Minister of using such labels to silence critics and avoid accountability. Earlier opposition leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, had also expressed pride in being called ‘Dimagi Naxals’. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had then clarified the Prime Minister’s remarks were not aimed at political rivals. But last week, Prime Minister Modi reiterated his stance, calling the label a ‘homoeopathic pill’.
