Iran hits back at Rubio’s ‘energy hostage’ remark, blames US sanctions for market turmoil

Iran has rejected US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s remarks, accusing Washington of distorting regional realities and diverting attention from its destabilizing policies. Tehran asserts that US sanctions, not its own actions, have disrupted global energy markets and held them hostage. Rubio had previously accused Iran of holding the energy market hostage during his visit to India.
