Jammu and Kashmir: Arms & drugs seized in cross-border smuggling case; 4 held

J&K Police arrested four suspects linked to cross-border drug and arms smuggling. The police seized a Beretta pistol, magazines, live rounds, and narcotics during this operation. Initial arrests occurred when two men were stopped at a checkpoint and found with heroin and a firearm. This investigation revealed connections with handlers based in Pakistan and previous air-dropped consignments. The case has been registered under relevant laws with further investigation ongoing.
