Kala Hiran row: Producer Amit Jani seeks apology, Rs 50 lakh damages from Govind Namdev

The controversy surrounding Kala Hiran, the film inspired by Salman Khan’s 1998 blackbuck poaching case, has taken a fresh turn. Producer Amit Jani has now issued a legal notice to veteran actor Govind Namdev after the latter publicly expressed disappointment and concern over the film’s teaser. The producer has sought a public apology from Namdev within seven days and demanded Rs 50 lakh as compensation to the production house.
