Kharge says Congress to meet CJI over ‘vote chori’ allegations

In a significant move, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has announced plans for a meeting with the Chief Justice of India. He, alongside senior leader Rahul Gandhi, intends to discuss pressing issues regarding the independence of constitutional institutions. Kharge raised concerns about the Election Commission’s functioning and criticized new legislation that he believes contributes to electoral malpractice, terming the current political landscape an undeclared Emergency orchestrated by the government.
