Carmela Chillery-Watson became the youngest MBE recipient at eleven years old. She received the honour for her extensive fundraising and awareness work. This recognition celebrated her dedication to Muscular Dystrophy UK and the disabled community. Carmela’s journey began after her diagnosis with a rare muscle-wasting condition at age four.
