Michigan couple loses court fight over 50-foot strip claimed through deed error

A Michigan couple has lost a legal battle over a 50-foot-wide strip of land they claimed was wrongly excluded from their property because of an error in a 1965 deed. The couple, who bought their land at a 2015 tax sale, argued that previous owners had used the disputed area for decades. However, two surveys placed the land within their neighbour’s property.
