New Jersey wildlife centre cares for 219 box turtles dumped near river

The Mercer County Wildlife Center is diligently working to rehabilitate 219 abandoned box turtles, found near Cranford, New Jersey, back in July. A significant rescue operation was launched after these turtles were discovered by the riverbank. With winter on the horizon, the center is building outdoor enclosures to allow the turtles to brumate naturally.
