Novak Djokovic claimed his historic seventh China Open title when Alex de Minaur retired injured during the match, leading 7-6(3), 0-1. This victory also marks Djokovic’s impressive 102nd ATP singles title, closing in on Roger Federer’s record. Djokovic’s unmatched performance at this event includes a perfect 34-match winning streak. While de Minaur lamented the premature conclusion, he remains hopeful for a rematch in next year’s tournament.
