A new study highlights Gram Sabha participation fatigue, driven by unresolved grievances and lack of visible outcomes. Livelihood and time constraints significantly hinder public engagement in these local meetings. The report suggests launching awareness missions and livelihood-sensitive scheduling for better participation. Strengthening inclusive platforms will improve representation of women and vulnerable groups. The ministry will implement recommendations to make Gram Sabhas more effective.
