Patrick Mahomes’ KC Current faces billion-dollar twist in stadium expansion

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are part of the ownership group behind the Kansas City Current, whose CPKC Stadium has quickly become a major success. The 11,500-seat venue has sold out home matches, while around 8,000 season-ticket holders and more than 5,000 fans remain on the waiting list. With all 12 luxury suites sold, the Current are now considering adding 6,500 seats to meet surging demand and welcome more supporters.
