Patrick Mahomes is preparing to return for the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering ACL and LCL tears in his left knee last December. Although he has been cleared for full participation, NFL executives remain uncertain about whether he has regained the mobility that makes him dangerous. Kansas City is also dealing with offensive line and defensive changes. Mahomes is expected to start against Denver on September 14.
