Relationship ending without marriage doesn’t amount to rape: Uttarakhand HC

The Uttarakhand high court quashed a rape case registered against a man. The court found the relationship began consensually through the Tinder dating app. A physical relationship developed between the two individuals over several months. The court ruled a breakdown of the relationship did not constitute rape. Further criminal proceedings were deemed an abuse of legal process.
