The Bharatiya Janata Party has questioned why the Congress party remains tight-lipped about the recent conviction of Tarun Tejpal. The former Tehelka editor-in-chief received a ten-year prison sentence for sexual assault from 2013. BJP officials allege that Tejpal has ties to the Congress party during the UPA regime.
