Tamil Nadu CM Vijay resigns from Trichy East, retains Perambur seat

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief Vijay has resigned from the Tiruchirappalli East assembly seat, opting to retain Perambur. Sworn in earlier, Vijay pledged to usher in an era of “real, secular and social justice.” He emphasized his connection to ordinary people, promising only achievable goals and expressing confidence in collective strength to overcome challenges.
