Thane cabbie assaults elderly man after he objects to spitting on road; Shinde takes action

Thane Police have been directed by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to file an attempt to murder case against a cab driver. The driver allegedly assaulted an elderly man who objected to him spitting on the road. A video of the incident, showing the driver picking up a stone, went viral.
