Uber is cutting about 3,300 jobs, roughly 10 percent of its global workforce, in its biggest restructuring since 2020. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the layoffs remove management layers, merge delivery and engineering teams, and free up capital for Uber’s robotaxi push. Manager numbers fall 20 percent and fully remote roles drop to about 1 percent. Headcount now returns to 2021 levels. Khosrowshahi did not blame AI for the cuts.
