A dispute over a metre-wide strip of land between a Russian Orthodox priest and his neighbour in West Yorkshire has escalated into police complaints, CCTV surveillance and criminal proceedings. The priest was also filmed sprinkling holy water near the disputed fence, which his wife described as an attempt to restore peace. With both households claiming ownership, the matter may now reach a civil court.
