US sanctions 4 Indian firms under ‘Economic Outcast’ over Iran oil and petrochemical trade links

The United States has imposed sanctions on four Indian companies involved in Iran’s oil trade, aiming to disrupt Tehran’s global revenue streams. Among those targeted, Sadashiva Overseas and PP Softtech have been linked to the import of significant quantities of Iranian petroleum products. Additionally, Prakrutees Infra participated in similar transactions from May 2023 to February 2026, highlighting the ongoing US efforts against Iran’s illicit economic activities.
