Who is Muzafar Ahmed? Key accused in Red Fort blast with an Al-Qaeda connection

A Jammu and Kashmir paediatrician, Muzafar Ahmed, has been identified by the NIA as a key conspirator in the deadly 2025 Red Fort bomb blast. Ahmed, a founding member of an alleged Al-Qaeda offshoot, is accused of playing a central role in the terror module’s operations, including the manufacture and testing of explosives. The NIA’s supplementary chargesheet also names two other individuals involved in supporting the module.
