Wisconsin campus closed after 60 years; 76-acre site could become 670 homes

The Waukesha County Board has approved the sale of the former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha campus. This property, covering 76 acres, is to be redeveloped into a residential neighbourhood. The plan includes offering approximately 670 homes, consisting of single-family and multifamily units. Local officials estimate the project will significantly enhance the local tax base and generate additional revenue.
