July FPI inflows touch Rs 42,000 crore, top February record

Foreign portfolio investors became net buyers of Indian equities in July. This marked a reversal after four months of significant outflows from the market. Total foreign inflows reached their strongest point this year, surpassing February’s figures. Equity segment saw intense selling pressure earlier, with substantial outflows recorded. Debt markets remained resilient, attracting significant inflows throughout the year.
