Pakistan’s Ali Usman creates history, ends 16-year wait in England

Usman was Pakistan’s standout bowler. He finished with 5/95 from 24 overs and claimed his first five-wicket haul in England. The left-arm spinner also became the first visiting left-arm spinner since Shakib Al Hasan in 2010 to take five wickets in a Test innings in England. Usman was also the first visiting spinner to take a five-wicket haul at Leeds since Australia’s Ashley Mallett took 5/114 in 1972.
